Winter Sport Finals Are Fast Approaching!
Finals are just around the corner! Whether it’s footy or netball, it is getting to that time of year where it is all worth it! All the hard work in the gym and on the track. This is where it all counts!
For many athletes, during the winter months it can be hard to keep your head above water when it comes to managing those aches and pains that tend to pop up during the regular season. For most weekend warriors, the mindset is usually to push through and worry about it during the off season.
However, this is the most important time of year to be fit and healthy! To be at your very best at finals time.
Some tips to keep in mind around this time of year include,
- Maintaining good habits with sleep and nutrition.
- Maintaining good warm up and cool down routines with training and matches.
- Staying on top of any aches or pains that pop up.
