What is Pilates?

Group rehabilitation Pilates focus’ on improving flexibility, posture, balance and strength for people of all ages and abilities. Alongside being a rehabilitation tool for managing injuries, Pilates is also beneficial for general health and fitness.

HIIT Pilates is a high intensity circuit based Pilates class designed to get you sweating. This form of Pilates is designed for those wanting a physical challenge and looking to improve their strength and fitness.

This is completed in our state of the art studio where we used specialised equipment to assist and challenge clients dependant on their individual circumstance.

The Initial Assessment

The initial introductory class is a one-on-one session completed with a qualified instructor that is designed to familiarize you with the Pilates apparatus. During the session your ability and injuries will be assessed to allow us to determine your Pilates level. This is required for anyone who will be attending the Clinical Pilates. It is optional for those who plan on attending the HIIT Pilates.

After completing your initial assessment, you will be able to join classes using our online booking systemIn these sessions an individualised program will be utilised during the group sessions to optimise progress and success towards each client’s goal.

Our Instructors

Our clinical and studio trained instructors include Tegan Smith, Shona Hunt, Daniel Cabai, Emma Dunster, Amanda Chandler, Lauren Andrew and Alanah Hayes. All of our instructors have undertaken comprehensive training and pride themselves on their dedication and knowledge. You can see our Pilates trained instructors here.

General Class information

In the Clinical Pilates sessions there will be a maximum of 4 people to one instructor per class. Class sizes are kept small to with a focus on individual needs being catered to.

HIIT Pilates sessions run with a maximum of 6 people per session.

All group Pilates classes run for 45 minutes at varying times throughout the day and on a Saturday morning. Morning and evening classes are available throughout the week. Please click here to see our Pilates timetable.

Is Pilates at Western Region Health for me?

With our experience and knowledge at Western Region Health, Pilates is used in the management of a wide variety of conditions. These include but are not limited to neck pain, shoulder pain, low back pain and knee pain.

We also are passionate about helping people through all phases of life and take pride when managing pre and postnatal women and during their pregnancy.

It doesn’t matter whether you are a beginner or experienced in Pilates, we want to help you achieve your goals. Whether that be injury management, increase strength, weight loss or general wellbeing, we are here to support you.

PRICES

The initial one-on-one assessment will cost $85.00. It is a requirement of the clinic that an assessment is completed prior to attending our group sessions. This can be booked and paid for online by clicking here or by contacting our Melton reception team on 9747 0077.

Once you have completed your assessment, all group classes are booked online through the PILATES link on the ‘Home’ page of this website.

Packages for cardiolates sessions are as follows:

3 Session Pack – $99.00

5 Session Pack – $160.00

10 Session Pack – $260.00

  • *VIP Monthly membership – $140.00 (1 session per week for 6 months)
  • *VIP Gold Monthly membership – $268.00 (2 sessions per week for 6 months)
