What is Myotherapy?

Myotherapy is defined as - the comprehensive assessment, treatment and management of neuromusculoskeletal disorders and conditions caused by improper biomechanical functioning.

Myotherapist's generally use a hands on approach through massage and trigger point therapy, along with the use of modalities such as TENS, taping, corrective exercise, stretching, myofascial release and cupping in assessing and treating the connective tissue in myofascial pain syndromes.

Common conditions treated and managed by Myotherapy include:
