In conjunction with this, we have formulated ongoing relationships with over 60 General Practitioners in the Western Suburbs, referral to nationally renowned Specialists and a diverse range of allied health practitioners and personal trainers, all of which have given WRH the reputation it has today.

Is Osteopathy right for me?

Osteopaths are primary health care practitioners who recognise the important link between the structure of the body and the way it functions. Osteopathy focuses on how the skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, circulation, connective tissue and internal organs work together as a whole unit. An Osteopath may use techniques that include but are not limited to massage, stretching, repetitive joint movements, mobilisation and/or manipulation.

Osteopathic treatment is most commonly sought for musculo-skeletal problems such as:

  • Neck/back pain
  • Repetitive muscle strains - such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome & tennis/golfers elbow
  • Sporting injuries
  • Headaches/migraines
  • Postural strain
  • Sciatica, disc injury
  • Arthritic/joint pain
  • Tendonitis/bursitis
  • Shoulder pain/injuries
  • Pregnancy related pelvic pain
  • Foot pain, plantar fasciitis

We also treat children

Infants and children have musculoskeletal systems that are not as developed as an adult.

Osteopaths use a thorough clinical history and select techniques that are age appropriate to provide care and support to our youngest patients.
